Teal’c Birthday Party

As you can see Teal’c worried no one would come as we were setting up.

“Surprise party” – – well he kind of figured it out on his own!

They soon started to arrive and Teal’c was happy to see many friends show up.

Some were new friends.

Some of Teal'c new friends.

Some of Teal’c new friends.

But most were old friends.

Lots of healthy treats for everyone.

Lots of healthy treats for everyone.

And of course there was –

Teal'c Birthday Cake

Everyone enjoyed the cake and treats.

Eating Birthday Cake

Eating Birthday Cake

As with any group of dogs which includes food and new dogs introduced to the pack there were a few scuffles,

which were quickly quelled by the guardians and forgotten by the dogs.

All the dogs were looking for MORE CAKE.

All the dogs were looking for MORE CAKE.

Some of the dogs were late arrivals due to their guardians commitments and missed out on the cake,

but were just as happy to join us for a walk and play.

There were a total of twelve dogs at Teal’c Birthday Party, only three missed out on the cake.

Teal’c thanks everyone for making his

Birthday a very special day!

Snow is Gone

The Mud is Here.

Time of year for many baths.

Time of year for many baths.

Although we all are happy to see the snow gone this time of year always brings the spring mud, why our canine friends want to lie and roll in it may come from the urge to disguise their scent. They sure are happy doing it.

So many new fresh smells that were lost for months, this peeks the canine interest and puts the brain hard at work, distracting them from this task can be difficult at times, practice makes perfect. Dogs should always be given their time to this, knowing that they can will improve learning when they can’t and will often respond better.

And Now

It’s

Bath Time.

Walk to Roxboro Island

The Roxboro Pack

Meet up Group Activity:

The day looked great when I got up, quickly checked the weather network and for the time of our walk it was going to be some sun and clouds, great. Teal’c and I got to Tim Horton’s at 12:30 pm and waited until 1:30 pm we enjoyed a coffee and dog treats and conversing with passer byes who asked questions about Teal’c and the sign he was carrying  we were a little disappointed when no one showed, so we went on the walk on our way we stopped at Croque en Bol at 11387 boul Gouin Ouest. Upon arriving found a couple of people who had been told about the walk by staff at the Croque en Bol and wanted to join us. The manager of the Croque en Bol , Daniel Lussier had arranged to have Nora from  Eukanuba there to greet us on our first walk so everyone who came on the walk received a gift bag from Eukanuba which contained; Eukanuba Frisbee  Scotch lint sheets, roll of poop bags with dispenser,  Eukanuba picture frame and measuring cup, collapsible water bowl, Dog training clicker,  and two $5.00 off coupons for Eukanuba pet food all in a nice little tote bag with photo of pets on it. Thanks very much Daniel,  Nora, Croque en Bol and  Eukanuba for your support on our first walk.

It was about 2 pm when we started off again and we were on Roxboro Island, the weather  was nice and the scenery  beautiful and the dogs had a great time even went for a swim.
